The innovative Fiore program improves the health of people with DD through a series of interventions, all part of Fiore's Eureka! Tools™ package. The initiative’s success with individuals is partly due to a realistic and reasonable approach toward goal attainment. "Perfection" is never a concept that is advocated. Rather, healthy benchmarks are achieved within thoughtfully designed guidelines that stress: enjoyment of life, trying hard, and consistently making good choices.
- Interrelated curricula (available in two formats—Expanded and Condensed) written expressly for the health, nutrition and socialization challenges this population faces, and for the staff that support these individuals.
- E-Learning and E-Testing methodologies to reinforce and document knowledge accretion by caregivers.
- PhotoStep Recipes™ and VideoStep Recipes™ both presented in a highly innovative
format, are proven to produce nutritional, programmatic, and cost-effective outcomes.
